Description
A cosmetic grade mica that is generally stable in cold process soap, and useful for many bath and body products. Usage rate for cold and hot process soap is between 1-2 tsp per pound of soap. Mica is packed in a zip-top stand up pouch that is heat sealed. Sample size is one teaspoon. Please note on occasion a fragrance oil or other additive may affect this color to a more greenish hue. Testing with new scents is always recommended.

I like that I can vary the intensity in it and get beautiful oceans blue, denim blue and sky blue out of it. If you need just one blue in your collection, this is the one.

Luster Blue is breathtaking! It is the precise shade of bright, crystal-clear, ocean waters! My husband & I took a trip to Belize once, and as I was transferring this mica to an empty jar, it instantly reminded me of that trip, and the color of the ocean from our airplane window! BEST thing about this mica: You DO NOT have to fight with it to get a TRUE BLUE in your CP soap! Some base oils (especially olive) can make lighter/brighter shades of blue mica take on a slightly greenish hue if you don’t add enough, but not this mica! It is super pigmented & gorgeously true! Just a quarter tsp in my accent portion yesterday produced the EXACT shade of blue in my soap as the color in the jar! I am so impressed with this stunning color & will always come back to restock it!

I really like this color and will likely purchase again. I really liked in the same cp soap as the Blackish Green mica. They really went together well.
