Q & A and Terms and Conditions:

Welcome to my co-op style store!  I am Stephanie Graham, a soaper who wanted a better way to get supplies for my own soap making.  To make that happen, I created a Facebook group, Steph’s Micas and More, where you can find out how to buy together with me.  This is the store where you can purchase the items.  All items listed are available unless noted otherwise.


When is the store open?

The store is usually open the first week of each month January through October.


What time during the Group Buys can I order?  When does it close?

The group buys will open on a Monday at 12:00 noon eastern time, and is open for the rest of that week, until the following Sunday night at midnight.  You can order at any time that it is open.


Can I order at any time, even when the store is closed?

No, all items are PRE-BUY, you can only order when the store is OPEN.  Where the store is not accepting orders, that means there is no group buy currently open.


Is there a minimum order?

No, there is no minimum cost or items that you need to order to purchase.


How do I find out about the Group Buys?

I normally create a Facebook event and send invites to notify group members of when the current group buy is running, but Facebook does not always let me send an invite to all members, so I will also send an email if you sign up here:  Mica Monday Mailer Sign Up.


When will my order ship?

Typically shipping STARTS 2 weeks from the CLOSE of the Group Buy, not when you place your order.  It takes most of the week to get all of the orders shipped.  Updates are typically posted in the banner that runs along the bottom of the site.  The anticipated start of shipping is also added to the order confirmation email.


Will I get a tracking number?

You will receive an email with tracking information.  International shipping may contain an over charge that will be refunded, or if additional shipping is required, you will be contacted prior to shipping.


Are there other charges or separate invoices for shipping?

No, the shipping cost is added in the store, you pay for shipping when you checkout.  If there is a mistake on shipping I will contact you to correct it or send a sample if the cost difference is $1.00.  The exception to this is if you have an order that is $300.00 or more.  I will contact you for adding extra insurance, sign for pickup, or any other arrangements.


Is $35.00 the total cost for shipping all International orders?

No, the cost is set at $35.00 in the store.  If it is less, you will get a refund.  If it is more, I will contact you for options.


What other policies are there for International orders?

Micas, glitters, and supplies can generally be shipped to any country.  However, additives will only be sent if you have determined that your country will allow that product to be imported.  Milk powders and botanicals are often not allowed to be imported.  If you order additives, I will contact you to be sure that you want the item sent.  If the item is not allowed, it may be confiscated, and I cannot refund anything that they choose not to send you.  International orders cannot be guaranteed delivery once it leaves the US, and I cannot refund orders that are lost after it has left the US.


What’s the best way to reach the store/group owner?

I am available through Facebook messaging for any questions, or email, but notifications will likely reach me faster through Facebook.
