Description
A cosmetic grade mica that is typically stable in cold process soap, and useful for many bath and body products. It is approved for use on lips. Usage rate for cold and hot process soap is between 1-2 tsp per pound of soap. Mica is packed in a thick zip-top stand up pouch that is heat sealed. This mica looks reddish when first mixed, but sets up like the color it looks dry without any fragrance oil added, but has on rare occasion looked more pink once set up. Sample size is one teaspoon.
Mica CI 77019
Titanium Dioxide I77891
Iron Oxide CI 77499
Micron Size 10-60

A great orange and easy to “bump” a little for lots of shades. A hint of red and it becomes a more vibrant orange, a little pink and it moves towards peach-ish, add some white and it becomes a softer pastel. I love it straight up but I also love how versatile it is.

Another universal orange! I’ve gotten a red coral, a softer reddish copper, and alight coral from it. One thing I found out with all Micas and More, you DO NOT need very much. If you use more than the tip, on a teaspoon, you are just wasting it. I have a lot of micas from other places, and I’d have to use so much, and then they bleed so much. In my opinion, there aren’t any micas, as good as Micas and More.Thank you Stephanie for doing such a great job for all of us!
