This mica is amazing! So much easier to work with than TD and I had no issues with accelerated trace. Highly recommend trying this if you’re looking for a white mica to replace titanium dioxide.

After reading all the review, I bought a larger package and I am now using this more to get the white color for my soaps. I believe it behaves better than TD and it has an easier clean up

After oohing & ahhing over this mica from Stephanie’s wonderful YouTube videos, I bought myself a 2oz bag & now wish I’d grabbed a 4oz one! I LOVE THIS!!! It made my soap beautifully white without having to use an excessive amount (1tsp/PPO did the job more than adequately!), blended in smoothly & effortlessly, and I don’t have to worry about glycerin rivers or those pesky little speckles! I also blended this with Micas & More’s “Lavender” Mica (2 parts “White Satin” to 1 part “Lavender”) to create the softest, most daintiest shade of pastel purple I’ve ever seen! So it’s official- I can’t be without this mica!! Either alone, or used for blending to soften other shades, this is a mica I will be back for again & again (and will re-order at the first sign of it getting low!). I really couldn’t be happier with this mica OR this company! The prices are FANTASTIC, the quality is top notch, my orders arrive at lightening speed & the sheer dedication to customer satisfaction is truly above & beyond! THANK YOU STEPHANIE!!!

I love this white!! I use this in every batch of CP soap. Bright and clean!! This has replaced my TD completely and no glycerin rivers!!

I wish I could buy this in bigger quantities!! I switched from TD white satin mica in 2018 and have never turned back. Makes a nice white with no streaks. A must have.

I use this to lighten my soap batter or add a nice contrast in swirls. I never had luck using straight TD. This product is awesome!!

  7. Shantelle Smail (verified owner)

This is the first white mica I have tried. I have only ever used TD for coloring soap white. This mica gives a beautiful creamy, pearly white in my recipe. I love the look. It blends in easily and I haven’t had any glycerin rivers or white streaks while using it so I am pretty darn happy with that!

I love all of Steph’s mica’s, but White Satin is my very favorite! Because I’m not a TD fan and sometimes want a whiter base than what my batter gives after cooking, this is my go to color, which is plenty white for me!

I’m absolutely mesmerized by this color. It really does look like satin. It gives my CP soaps a nice white color without the starkness you get from TD. If you’re tired of dealing with TD or just want an alternative to TD, I highly recommend White Satin Mica. You will not be disappointed.

This is the first white mica, and I have tried many, that will give me a nice white color in cold process soap, without having to use so much TD. I am so happy with this find, and not having to deal with the glycerin rivers in my soap. I love all of the mica colors, but I am very partial to this one, after searching for so long. Yeah for Micas and More, and Steph!
