Description
A cosmetic grade mica that is stable in cold process soap, and useful for many bath and body products. This mica has a metallic effect that is best seen in a top swirl. The color will have a more matte effect in opaque soaps. Due to the high micron size it is not approved for use on the face. Usage rate for cold and hot process soap is between 1-2 tsp per pound of soap. Mica is packed in a thick zip-top stand up pouch that is heat sealed. Sample size is one teaspoon.

This is so shimmery! I bought it to do a hot process with mica line to kind of mimic a gold vein in quartz but I think I ll be using it for a few projects

This made a beautiful gold shimmer when used as a mica swirl in cp soap. I did not add to my soap batter so as to maintain the shimmer. It was beautiful. I intend to purchase again. It also was very pretty as a coating on salt.
