Description
A cosmetic grade mica that is stable in cold process soap, and useful for many bath and body products. This mica has reddish highlights. It is approved for use on lips. Usage rate for cold and hot process soap is between 1-2 tsp per pound of soap. Mica is packed in a zip-top stand up pouch that is heat sealed. Sample size is one teaspoon.

I couldn’t be happier with this mica if I tried! I have been on the hunt for a medium, milk-chocolate shade of brown for the longest time, and many times, from different suppliers, I thought I found it, only to end up with another deep shade of brown that was MUCH darker than what the picture on the website conveyed. This is the precise shade of rich, warm, milk-chocolatey brown that I’ve been searching for! I used it right away in a CP batch as the base color with a discoloring FO (I don’t beat discoloration, I join it LOL!), and am SO PLEASED with the results! I can’t wait to use this mica in more soapy creations, as brown is one of those colors that just pairs beautifully with pretty much anything, and already I have my eye on pairing this beauty with Mica & More’s Mint Cream mica! Another OUTSTANDING color that has earned a permanent spot in my mica collection!

This is a beautiful soft/light chocolate brown. I use it as the base in a lot of my soaps. But it also pairs well with so many other colors. It’s light brown enough that even the Soft Pink Mica shows up well in it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a beautiful brown color. It’s just that it’s not so dark that you can’t pair lighter colors with it. Great light-medium shade brown!
